Wanting to get tank-raised sea horses for myself and a friend. Has anyone used this place, what was your experience? Any other suggestions.

Wow, another Rochester MN reefer!!!

Do I know you?

I do not know of anybody in the area that has ordered from OceanRider. I have hear mostly good things about them and thier fish.

Drop me a line, always love to see other tanks and if you are willing and local, all the better

I friend of mine ordered a pair of sea horses from them about 4 months ago. They came in healthy along with all the extras they sent , some plants, shrimp food ect all came in good condition.
His ponys just gave birt to about 200 little ones and he is having good luck raising them on fresh hatch brine. he keeps them the pair in a 72 gal bow front with live rock macro sump and skimmer.
thats my 2 cents worth.
Randy
I must add on another board ocean riders was getting very bad reviews if you had a problem. If they came in alive great but if the came in and died in the first week good luck getting them replaced or refunded. I dont know how true that is I just read the treads from another board.
