Interested in what the success rate is with those that have tried. Don't mind hearing comments from those that have not tried and why. If you have been successful, how did you keep them; i.e. alone, in a reef, etc?

Hello there...our resident seahorse expert, JennM is around, but busy starting up a little fish store .

Do a search of our old threads, you should find some info there.
It is best to aquire captive-bred seahorses that are eating frozen foods like mysis shrimp.

Seahorses do best in a species tank dedicated to their special feeding needs. They will not do as well in a reef where there is competition for food and/or tankmates who might harass them.

Seahorses do best in groups and in taller tanks of at least 20" high.
