Yes I'm on a couple of lists (as is Bill-e) that have members who are propagating seahorses, in some cases, several species. Bill seems to have H. erectus, and from what I'm reading they are somewhat easier to raise, but that's a relative term..none of them are EASY, except perhaps dwarfs.
My H. reidi (which I ordered as H. erectus, but received reidi...) have fry that are among the smallest, and they don't hitch for the first several weeks of life. I'm currently having problems with premature babies, and non-viable young, and the viable ones I can't seem to feed adequately. This time my brine didn't hatch out in time ARGH

I'm trying to culture come copepods but they aren't multiplying fast enough!
I'll try again in about a week when he has the next batch

but it's frustrating at best.
