I have never owned one but they are supposed to be exelent algea eaters,and very peacefull, you can get one from blue zoo aquatics for 22.95

when they feel sick or whatever the spit out a nasty red slime!! something to think about

it's a purple ink, and I've had it happen with no ill effects to the tank. I had one get stuck in a powerhead, and it didnt quite care for it. I didnt notice any problems, and it dissipated rather quickly. I wouldnt use that as a reason not to get one.

They are peaceful, and mow down hair algae. They seem to be rather bullish in terms of how they move around the tank. Ask a LFS to order one in for you, they are pretty cheap (should be under $20).

i employed 2 to rid myself of bryopsis, didnt have much luck with them, and they didnt last very long in the tank, they were small, and there is no telling what happened to them. but they are neat creatures, and i hope you have better luck than me with them if you decide to get one.
