SE halide bulb
I noticed today that i have tiny shards of glass inside of my halide bulb. is this normal?

yeah its normal i had some of mine do that before as long as it is not cracked u should be fine.

I have not seen any cracks in the outer sheild of the bulb. But this is the first time i had MH bulbs on my tank and did not know if it was normal or not. I sent a email to Hellolights just to make sure there is nothing wrong with the bulb.

if the shield isn't cracked you shold be fine. remember that a mh bulb will burn with a broken shield and will completely fry everything in your tank in a very short time.

The shards of glass are inside of the halide tube itself.
