Saturday!!!!

Good Saturday Morning TRT! Coffee's on. Cereal and milk. Some banana's hanging on the counter.
I am on the way to the FD. BUSY day ahead for a Saturday. We have to do all the normal Saturday checks, inspect a dozen fuel trucks, inspect over 100 flight line extinguishers, burn off the rest of the grass that has to get gone before the airshow next week, and then I have to teach an airfield driver's class to the crew from the main station. Not sure what the dinner plans will include. Maybe ordering in. Or maybe one of the frozen dinners I eat during the week. We didn't set anything up last shift.
I forgot to brag on my daughter. She got her report card earlier this week. All A's except for a high B in english. Quite a relief after last year.
Happy Birthday to little Fred-ette. Welcome to the terrible 2's. Hope she has a great B-day!
Good luck with the garage sale Vinnie.
I need to finish getting ready. Pretty busy day at EMS. Nothing really spectacular, but no wasting of time either.
Hope y'all have a great day and a great weekend.
Ray

Good Morning, Ray, Jose, & Everybody!

Some frost this morning with sunshine and upper 60's today. Great Fall weather for tonight's VOL homecoming game against the Memphis Tigers.

That's terrific, Ray! Congratulations to your daughter for a job well done. Cereal & banana works for me.

Hope the wife's sore throat clears up fast, Jose.

Autumn marches on and the color scene is winding down but there's still lots of color around. Dogwoods.

Have a Super Saturday, Everyone!

Dick

Morning Ray,Seamore,Dick and TRT !!

Ray- That is quite the schedule for a Saturday. I'm tired already.Congrats on the good grades .I know how that feels when the kids are doing well. Thanks for breakfast
Seamore- Sorry the wife's gettn sick. Take care of her. Soup does sound good . Where do you live again ?
Dick- Great shot. Looks like I can pluck a leaf right off the computer screen . Have a great day

Lots going on today.(Ray has me beat though) .Took down all the Halloween decorations down last night. Have to stuff um up in the attic,Truck needs to be washed and the wife wants to see a movie today. She needs some fresh air. Goes back to work Monday.
My old landlord wants me back and dropped my rent for my shop to $100. bucks over what I'm paying for 3 storage garages. I jumped on the opportunity. Now I have to move again Having all the space and being able to drive my truck inside is well worth the 100. I'm staying busy(touch wood) so far, so I'm gonna roll the dice for the winter (6 month lease )
Have a Great Saturday Everyone !!

I marinated a flank steak overnight and have all the fixin's for Carne Asada tacos. A bunch of people from work are going and are bringing burgers and beers and the rest.

Have a nice Saturday!!

Good morning reef geeks!

60 degrees and sunny today, not bad for November in MN. Outside work is calling for the day.

Have a good one everyone.

Good mawnin', Ray, Jose, Dick, Tom, Perry, Jake, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the breakfast, Ray. You put us ALL to shame with that schedule of yours. Egad, man. Thanks to you for all you do, even if it's in the wrong state Congrats to your daughter and her grades.

Jose - Soup is a good thing for a sore throat. I hope that helps her heal quickly.

Dick - beautiful macro of the dogwood leaves. My tree is bare. I hope that UT whups up on Memphis.

Perry - have fun at Air Force vs Army game. My parents were in the Army Air Corps, so do I pull for Army or Air Force?

Fred - you know we want photos of the Fred-ette's birthday party.

Jake - get out the sunblock and enjoy your day!

Today Bobbi and I are having a girls' day out. Going shopping at Mast General in Greenville, then to see the live satelite feed of the Metropolitan Opera. I know, I know...an over abundance of woofing and tweeting.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Thanks for the well wishes, Took a short cut on the ride today did 20 miles. Soups on, going for some rustic Italian flavors, four pounds of chicken breasts, chicken stock, fire roasted red peppers, garlic, vadalia onions, fresh rosemary, thyme, garlic, carrots, celery, baby portabella mushrooms, white wine and did I mention garlic? The house is starting to smell good, the aroma woke up my wife and she gave me that look of approval I was going for.
Going to do WC w/vacuum of the 75G sump, then remove, dismantle, inspect and clean both skimmer pumps, its been about 5 months so they are a month overdue for me. Going to two LFS with wife later today, (only to cheer her up, you gotta do what you gotta do), then meeting Antdizzle tomorrow to see an avid local coral grower/vendor's set up. (Prepping QT w/interceptor... trust no one.)
