Salt?
Not sure if this is the right place to be postin this question, but where is the best place to order salt for a reef tank?
Price and quality...
Also is there a lot of difference between the more expensive brands of salt, I've been told to stay away from the cheaper, lesser known brands.

Dr fosters and smith. they will ship one to X amount of buckets to your door for $14.99 and their prices on the salt are good to begin with. I dont know how big your tank is but I order ten buckets at a time..........all shipped to my door for $14.99
I use reef crystals FWIW

plus, you can take a printout of drs foster/smith prices to petco or petsmart and they might match prices ...that'll save you shipping

Petco won't match prices, but Petsmart will. I've always had success with that, but they only carry a few brands of salt.

Check your LFS too. I have one that sells buckets of instant ocean as cheap as online sites, and no shipping cost to worry about. Plus, for people like me who don't plan well in advance, it's nice to be able to go pick up more salt when you realize you don't have enough to do your water change.

Instant Ocean remains the most popular salt to use. Please don't ask which one is better
