Hello Everyone,
This morning after my lights came on, I always look at everything in the tank and I noticed that back behind a rock at the rear of the tank, I could see the legs of my
Sally Lightfoot crab. A little later I looked and they were still there. Still a little later they were STILL there!!! Well, for those of you that have Sally Lightfoots, you know that they are VERY active.
I decided to stick my small net back there and see if it had died. I was able to retreive the crab and when I held it, it's legs were limp and it seemed "see-through". It was COMPLETELY intact, no holes or broken seems or anything.
My guess (hope) is that it have shed it's old shell and I just had the old shell and now it is hiding while it's new shell hardens.
Does this sound right to you all???
Please let me know. I need reassurance
Thanks,
Steven
