Salifert tests

I just ordered so me Salifert tests and the two sites that I looked at had nothing for Nitrites. Does salifert make a nitrite kit? I did order Ammonia, nitrate, calcium, and posphate.

Thanks and also if there are any more tests that I should pick up let me know, please

Chris

IMO you should save your money on the ammonia and nitrIte tests anyway. Just be patient waiting for your tank to finish cycling and it shouldnt be an issue. If a large fish dies...get it out.

the phosphate test is kinda worthless too.......but if you have concerns about your ro/di water or other major issues it can be a good thing to have

Alk and mag too, Alk is the most important one IMHO.

I agree with all the above. Alk is probably one of the most important. Phosphates is kinda useless once you get it down past what the test can detect. Still, I'd only by Salifert test regardless unless someone comes up with a phosphates test that reads lower.
