RTBA shrunk???

Okay I bought my RTBA yesterday in the morning. When I stuck it in my tank, it happily walked until it foudn a spot it liked. It was inflated (looking normal) all the way until about five minutes ago today. Can anyone suggest why it of all the sudden now shrunk to its very small self? It looked georgeous the entire time it was here after footing itself and now the tentacles are so shrunken in that I can plainly see the mouth. It has decent flow on it.. and I have a 250watt 10K halide, with 2 64 watt actinics on it. It footed near the floor.
the place that I got it has it under VHO lighting only (not nearly as strong as mine) with no to very little flow. It has stayed inflated everytime I have seen it there.... my water parameters are very normal, my other corals are at their fullest openings and polyp extension. Any ideas or suggestions?? thanks!

how long did you acclimate it? do you know what the salinity is at the LFS you bought it from is? i am thinking it is trying to readjust its water content. hopefully it will puff back up shortly.

I agree with Geoff. It is probably readjusting itself to the parameters of your tank. If he has fully pulled in, he is readjusting.. if he is laying there open, but completely deflated..then that can give cause for concern. I am also curious on how long you acclimated him. Keep an eye on him, and keep up posted.

Also, for future reference...your RBTA will go through periods of deflate, inflate..sometimes for a couple of days, but he will bounce back. They are so finicky. heh
