rowaphos in a rainbow lifegard fluidized bed

i put my rowaphos on my new 180 set-up alittle while ago. i put it in a rainbow lifegard fluidized bed filter i had laying around. is this suitable ? or should i remove it and get a two little fishy phosphate reactor? it clouded the water but according to the rowaphos directions this was to be expected. does the rainbow NOT provide the proper filtering top to prevent the fine particles from entering the tank?? i need some quick answers. i am going out of town tomorrow morning and now wondering whether to turn off the rowaphos.

i am bumping this topic up again because i need some help! i just came home from two days away and the day before i left i put the rowaphos in my system. well today everything has a rust color coating on it. the built in overflows, the tops and intakes of my seios. my sump and my skimmer cup. is this from the rowaphos? help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would prolly work. it all depends on if the outlet for the chamber has a small enough screen on it to prevent the media from escaping. the fluidized filter pretty much looks and acts like a normal reactor.
