what about a rubber maid container. It would have a lid on it , a good size is around 25 /30 gallon and you could plum it with a ball valve a few inches up from the bottom to get the water out easy.

HMMmmmm , i think this might be my setup. I just got a RO/DI and thinking this would work pretty good. You could even put a powerheadlike a 302 AC in there and mix your salt mix right there. With the lid and in the garage it would be a dark cool place for it to mix.

Brute gabage can with wheels is a good way to go , you can get 44 or 55 gallon size.

I would try tractor supply or any farm supply in your area. They keep stuff like that with feeding and water bins.

I have 2 30-gallon Rubbermaid garbage cans with lids, available at any Home Depot or similar store. You can get them with wheels too (garbage cans).

I don't keep it in there long - 24 hours to circulate (with a power head) after I put the salt in - - certainly not longer than a couple of days. I store the excess SW in covered 5-gallon jugs (white plastic) that I got from the LFS. They said they are good for 2 weeks in those jugs, covered.
