Ro Water & Aquarium Grade Silicone

Strange thing has happened with the silicone i used to attach a bracket to the inside of my ro topoff container, The bracket holding my level sensor has fell off after 2 mths and there is no trace of any silicone on either the bracket or the side of the container?

I used a fair bit of silicone so the chances of it being sucked up through my tunze osmolator pump are slim unless it's broken down somehow? I know ro is hungry water but is it starving enough to dissolve silicone?

Just to add a bit more mystery since I siliconed the level indicator bracket i've had a algae bloom, coincidence?

What do you think?

i am betting your RO Top off container was made out of acrylic.

silly cone does not stick to acrylic long term. it just falls off. rather annoying but this is what happens. when adhering odd types of materials it is best to hunt down EXACTLY what these materials are and see what is designed to stick them together.
