RO waste water
What are you doing with it?
My garden only needs so much, I saw one system that recyles back into your hot water heater, I can really see a build up of junk over time accumulating from that.

you can use it in your washing machine as well. I could be wrong but i dont thinkt he build up over time woul e an issue. just figure the TDS of the waste water is 125% of what it usually is. At least logic tells me thats all it would be
im bad. I dump 12-1400 gallons a month in the winter. Im on a well thankfully. I do salvage quite a bit in the summertime though

I put it in jugs and use it to water plants, also to wash things out in the garage like pet bowls, etc. I also waste a lot of it by putting it down the drain, I'm sorry to say, when I have no more empty jugs to put it in!

Yep. Me too, but I'm considering getting another reservoir to save some of it

There is one company that I know of that has a dual RO system where the wastewater from the first RO goes into a second RO. The system takes good line pressure or a pump, but the saving in waste water was prety significant. I think it was filter guys, but I can't swear to it. Me personally, down the drain for now. Can't put it in the washer because I have a front loader. Will try to reuse some for watering this summer. I've heard people with swimming pools using the waste for topoff water.

Washingmachine here, plumbed right to it with a bypass to the utility sink. Pool is too far to reach but thats a good idea!

1? Why not 2 or 3 more, just get a pump to up the pressure to push it through

WHen you put it in the washing machine, is a top load and you are just filling up the drum? Or is actually hooked to a pipe or something?

You can use it for anything. I'll even fill up the waterjug in the fridge and drink it as it has been through three more stages of filtration than what comes out of the faucet

I assume in a setup where the "waste" from the RO/DI goes into the washer line that your washer has to actually be drawing water at the same time you're using the RO/DI unit? Just trying to get my head around how that would work.
Mike.
