RO unit help please

Hi. I am in need of an RO unit and am trying to figure out the difference in purchasing one from like a pet supply place and home depot. Home Depot offers a 3 stage RO unit and I was wondering if that would be ok. Any help would be great.

I don't see a big difference in the quality of RO units, but that's just me. For me, at the end of the day, they all pretty much can make water with 0 TDS.

there are less expensive options online.

i have the typhoon 5 stage RO/DI from www.airwaterice.com so far i have been very happy with it.

home depot is driven for the home, which isn't necessarily as pure water purification as the reef type set-ups. The difference isn't the non-replaceable but rather the filters used, so look for the 1 micron filtration over the 50 or 100 micron filters. You can check out http://www.thefilterguys.biz/ also.

some of the home depot units are rated for faster flow but at the cheap price they're at im sure they cant be as pure (especially because some of them don't list how pure they are.)
