RO/DI Unit Questions

Ive filled up my 32 Gallon Brute can about 4 times now (Probably half way a few times). I use the 50 GPD ARS Oceanus Model and the White Cart, is starting to turn a brown rust color. Now I had always thought the DI portion of the System was the black looking canister. But none the less I think its getting close to time to replacing my Cartridge for one of these canisters.

Problem is the only thing I see on the ARS Website is the DI module, which is a black color like the last stage on my unit. Can anyone point out what portion of the unit I am going to need to change out and if so do I just need to call Bryan to get that particular item sincei dont see it listed on his site?

Thanks.

- Joe

I'd give Bryan a call or shoot him an e-mail if you already haven't. I think that his incoming calls are cheaper for him than having him call you at home. Either way, you will probably get an answer in a couple of hours or so. His service can't be beat in my opinion.

The white cartridge is a prefilter. Sometimes it's combined with charcoal in the middle. It should be the first thing that the water passes through. It will collect particles from the water and depending on the water quality in your location it could get dirty pretty quickly. The brown you see may be rust from the pipes.
