RO/DI replacements schedule

I have an Oceanus 4 stage model, and I haven't replaced a dang thing on it in about a year. This weekend, my TDS meter showed a reading of 4 in my water, so it is time for some replacement parts. What is your regular schedule (if any) of replacing parts on your RO/DI? How often, and which parts?

TIA for your replies!

That depends on how much you use it I replace the sediment once a month
carbon every 2 months di resin once a month Ti membrane once a year. 4 is not bad out of yours.

The DI is the first to go and the Carbon and micro . the ro last the longest. I change my Carbon ,micro and DI every three months. That about how long the DI last for me. 4ppm is too much for my liking.

How much water are you guys/GALS making on average in a month? Its been 2 months on a brand new typhoon 3 for me and I am still getting 0 TDS. I have started using RO water for topoff in my cichlid tanks as well so I am prolly making atleast 40 gallons a month.

Edit: sorry VWD..

I make about 25 gallons weekly on my spectra pure. I havnt had time to tell how long the filters will last since i have been making more water a week. Before when i was only making like 10 gallons weekly i got 6 months and still had 0 readings but i changed the filters anyways.

Im not sure of my exact readings since my TDS meter is "ghetto" (set and wait for red light)
I change my micron and carbon probably every 3 months, DI maybe 6months, and havent changed my membrane in 18months (using a flush kit can help extend your membrane life.... so Ive been told)
I typically am making about 100gal per month.

Definatly check the sediment and carbon filters, they are fairly cheap and the stuff that get in there would normally wind up in your water glass.

Chris do you have a DI on that unit?

I have a carbon, sediment, and DI replacement coming today or tomorrow. Can someone please remind me how long I should let the water run before it is good to go? I do have a flush kit, too.

Thanks!
