ro/di minus tfc

got my ro/di, minus tfc membrane. Round two with this unit. It will be 2 weeks. Can i run the micron filter, carbon block and deionization cartridge minus the tfc membrane?

roger that, did 20 somethin gallons last night, won't do it again. This is same lfs that sold my mom a 60 lb piece of lalo for a 25G. Two onyx for $150, a 24gpd ro for the same price as a 50 ro/di. Why cant people be honest and trustworthy, i would pay tons of extra cash just for that. This is why im going back to my buddies at foster and smith. Never once have i had an issue. When a problem arrises, they react immediately and they do so with couth. Wait, the tfc is the final filtration, how will it affect the three previous filters? It goes through them first no matter what? Right?

You'll be perfectly fine to run it without the membrane for now, but you'll have to keep the water flow down to around a cup a minute, since the membrane isn't there to slow it for you. The DI will exhaust pretty quickly; but less than it would if it was fed straight tap water.

The TFC should go after the first two (particulate, carbon) cartridges but before the final (DI).
