Ro/di

Is four stages good, or should I get a different one?

Four is all you actually need, anything else is extra. The four stages should be sediment, carbon, RO, DI. Some will have multiple RO cartridges for a higher gallon per day rating and some will have multiple DI stages to target different contaminants. Doubling up on some of the stages can often times cost more up front but may save you money in the long run as the more expensive downstream cartridges will last longer. Check out the SpectraPure website and take a look at their MaxCap system for a better explanation of how this works.

Thanks Skeety! I think that is actually the first time I've been able to offer help on TRT as opposed to asking for it. Nice to have finally learned enough to be able to help others out for a change!

Hopefully as my knowledge increases I'll be able to contribute more. I have a long way to go though...
