Saw one at an lfs today that was 18 inches in diameter. Kinda big. Not sure how old it was but if they get that big I would refrain. IMHO only.

These anemones are among the most difficult animals to keep. Your tank is far to young. They can be kept in tanks that size, BUT it takes a very experienced hobbyist to pull it off. The lighting is questionable without knowing how many T5's you have and what wattage and Kelvin temp they are. They require strong random flow, but anemones don't mix with power heads very well. These anemones should really be kept in a species tank where the system can be designed around their needs. They are not a good candidate for the typical mixed reef aquarium. I would let your tank mature for another 6 months to a year and then start thinking about anemones. Maybe something like a bubble tip to start with. H. Magnifica should be left to the very experienced hobbyists with the dedication it takes to care for these anemones. Just my

I'm afraid I have to agree with EG. The ritteris are tough to keep in perfect situations, and tough to keep happy. Your tank needs to be stable (without addition of new rock or sand) for at least 8 months before you can add an anemone of any kind. The BTAs are the easiest to care for, but that being said, they can also be very picky and tough to raise.

I know that patience is the hardest thing in this hobby to deal with!!!!

Good luck
