RIP wrasses
Well I came back from 4 days out of town for thanksgiving and i didnt notice it last night but both my yellow coris and my carpenters flasher were nowhere to be seen.......i just found them......BOTH of them behind the tank on the tile.
My dad took care of the tanks while i was gone...nothing major but he just added some calcium and alk for me. He somehow shifted the piece of acrylic covering my coast to coast overflow giving them a gap......they BOTH took advantage and went tile surfing.
Im bummed...i liked them BOTH a lot.
Its my fault.......i have yet to install the teeth going to the external coast to coast overflow, but i dealt with it to prevent jumping by covering with some pieces of acrylic that i cut.........
Im doing a water change today and installing the teeth....a little late though

Yeah, i know they are prone to jumping thought i had it handled....the gap they had to jump through was only a couple of inches square.
I used to keep my six line in a glass open top tank for over a year and he never jumped......
I just finished shaping my teeth and will have them installed shortly......
thnaks everybody....but it WAS my fault kinda
We DID think the house smelled a little fishy when we got home last night...now we know why

Im sorry, but this made me laugh out loud. I used to know a guy who was always grinding on his false teeth to make them fit better. It just struck me funny.

Those were two very cool fish. Sorry to here about them jumping. This just reminded me again that I need to stop putting off enclosing the back of my canopy.
