RIP "Lenny" the blenny and "benny" the blenny

My second Lawnmower blenny died today. Poor guy. He was always sticking his head in the powerhead intake and eating the algae. I watched him do it once and then he got stuck so i turned it off and he was okay. But this time...this time he stuck his head in there and got stuck for good. I came home from work today and all that was left was the skin and bones stuck in the mesh screen. Pretty grose because it sucked all the meat off his body and into the powerhead. Afterwards I ate a sandwich and watched TV.
Love Ryan

Put some covers over your powerhead intakes.

I have learned my lesson with my powerheads. They do tend to take some livestock. Just recently lost a LTA to one. The screens do help but somehow this anemone still got stuck. Try building up rocks around the intake. I am currently experimenting with this idea. I also have a lawnmower blenny and love watching him/her. Keeping it safe is a must so my algae does not get out of control.

Can you post a picture/drawing like you did last time ??
Ps. The maxi jet powerheads come with a intake screen, they are the best.
