RIP cleaner shrimp :(

I found my one year old cleaner shrimp being devoured by my sally lightfoot this morning. No idea what happened there!! I loved that little shrimp. He was HUGE and did so well. What would have happened? How long do they live?

On another note my GSM clown's yellow stripes are becoming a very dull yellow (almost gray). Any thoughts?

sure it was the shrimp itself and not a moult. Crabs are opportunistic feeders
Bummer if its really gone

Nope...for sure not a molt. Haven't seen the shrimp all day and there was "meaty contents" coming out of him..the molts are always hollow.
