rhodactis?

Well my LFS has a piece of tongo branch with a lot of green mushrooms on it.
It's labelled as rhodactis but I'm not sure if it is.
It kinda hard to describe but it doesn't have round bumps like ricordia but more elogated ones. They don't stick off far but are longer across the face of the shroom (makes sense?)
Well they look cool and have a nice light green colour. jsut wondering if these guys should have requirements similar to other shrooms?

any thoughts?

no pic right now
might snap one if I head to the LFS tomorrow.
I have some store credit I might just pick it up.
The LFS guy is good, if I get something then find out that I don't think I can care for it he'll take it back (as long as it's still healthy, can't blame him there).
so if I pick it up I'll post a shot of it.

Is this the shroom? I bought some of these that came in on a piece of tonga. If it is these, they can get pretty big - like 8"-10" across. I have read that they eat fish but I never had a problem. Fast grower and drop off tons of baby shrooms too! I'd say get em'!

hmmm they don't look like that really...
those are pretty sweet though

I'll see if the LFS can identify them. they are just green but sorta almost tranzlucentish.

that's a great new word "tranzlucentish" I especially like the z.

Okay I'm tired. I'll get a pic tomorrow hopefully!

I have a number of rhodactis similar to those pictured in Big Daves post - they are in fact translucent when viewed from various angles.

How about these? Though I wouldn't classify these as "tranzlucentish", exept when they swell. They're only about 33% of full size in this picture.

here's the pic
a bit blurry thanks to sorta shaky hands. Next time I'll just set the timer and lay the camera on a stack of books.
Also I finally figured out that I can do macro w/o flash very easily. So that helps
well what do you think it is now?
