It's taken me 5 years to get this down and I still have a lot to learn. Thanks a lot though. I added 2 Fighting Conch snails to the tank last week and I am amazed at how much they stir up the sand. Way better than anything I've had before or seen. Does anyone know which standpipe would be better for high flow, a Durso or a Stockman? No issues with the Durso's, they are very quiet and do the job, just wondering if I would have more flow with a Stockman. I like them because a snail or anything else for that matter wouldn't be able to get into the pipe and do a repeat.

These are pics of my filter and plumbing set-up. CPR CY194 Wet/Dry filter with no Bio-crap, Mag 2400 Pump (in sump), Litle Giant 4-MDQX-SC (external), Current USA 1/3 HP Chiller w/temp controller. Also have a HB Water Systems RO/DI unit with a 55 gallon drum with a Kent float shut-off valve and it tops off water directly to the sump also using a Kent float shut-off valve. I also use a Red Sea air dryer for the skimmer pump.

looks good!

do you have a ball valve on each eductor outlet? if you really want to see how well an eductor works try turning all of them off but one. that sand will go everywhere! just one eductor running properly will move more water than all 4 that you have. you may actually be getting less flow using the eductors than if you were to just have open pipes. if you were to use the open pipes your sump would prolly drain in secounds. using one eductorth will also lower the total amount of flow through your sump. helping your overflow problem. it is very difficult to get that much flow out of an overflow. this is why most use CLS's for any flow rates above 600gph.

one eductor on my 800gph Velocity T3 was moving detritus on the opposite end of my 6' 125g!

My stockmans work great - I couldnt use dursos due to lack of room in the overflow box.
