It depends on intensity, flowthrough rate and duration of time the light is on. This is why I prefer it before the skimmer so that the skimmer can remove the particulate waste immediately.

But to answer you question, no, not all of them...

Flow has to be EXTREMELY slow in UV's (probably around 500GPH or less for parasites) I think even a skimmer pump could be too high. Chiller circuit might be a good choice, if you have one, and don't want to add another circuit.

I think adult pods are too big to be killed by UV. How many watts and the flow rate determine how large something needs to be to pass through unscathed.

do not worry about it. very few if any pods would take the trip up the return. besides they would first have to go through the spinning blades of death. very few UV's are capable of killing parasites let alone pods. those that are are in the $400 range. the others are just algae killers and should be plumbed before the skimmer in order to allow the skimmer to remove the dead algae before it can rot in the water column and add to more algae.
