retrofit dreaming

I have a 4 foot custom sealife hood with 4 65 watt PC's, Thinking about yanking 2 65 watt PC's and retrofitting two 175 watt MH's in their place. What do ya think? I was previously a electrician so the wiring and stuff wont be a problem. Was gonne keep the 2 65 watt actics in their and replace the 10k pc's with the MH's. Tell me your thoughts.

what is the hood made out of? if it is plastic i would be carefull. MH's are point sources of heat. could melt plastic pretty easily. you may also need to add more fans in there to dissipate the heat. might also want to give the MH's a little more space between the reflector and the bulb.

just things to consider. other than that i think it would be a good upgrade. MH's rule.
