Remember that green snail ?
well it's back, and it has grown. In fact it's not a snail at all. It is some kind of clam (someone said that before) or muscle !!
It is bright green with dark stripes on the side, and it climbs about an inch up the glass. ny guesses ?

Now if you take a glass of water then add two cubes of ice
you should see the cup's water level slightly rise, right?
You need to watch what I'ma show you..You need to look closely at what I'ma show you...
If you remove every living animal out of the sea then wouldn't the world's ocean water level decrease?
This means the planet wasn't three-quarters water !!!(that was deep)

It's shaped like a clam/barnacle. It may be a barnacle of some type. I can't figure out how it attached itself to the glass. There is no "visible foot. There is a small tongue that sticks out here and there. It's shell is very clean. there isn't ay algae like on my other hitchhiker clam. It's cool

Could it be a scallop?

KEWL!
I have a few small ones, nothing huge or major, but they are neat to watch....clams/scallops/mussels ROCK! I wish I could get a flame scallop...too bad it would just die.

cool- sounds like you have a green mussel. if it is green w/stripes, thats the only one I know of.... they use byssal threads to attach themselves, and just hang out and filter.
The most Kewl grouping of these that I saw was at the "enemy" LFS, several years ago, they got in a macroalge rock and had about 6 of them growing off of it.
anyway, if he's happy where he is, he will stay, otherwise it will probalby dissapear into the rockwork.
