reintroducing copper treated fish into main tank

I've been very busy these past few weeks and almost forgot I had fish that need to go back in my main tank.
They were all treated with copper for the past month.
How do I get them back in the main tank with precautions against the copper treatment.

I don't want to kill the main tank.
Do I move the fish to a bucket and dip them? What about the net I use to fish them out of the med tank...
What's the normal procedure.

thanks all.

I'm not sure I would call this normal procedure, but I stick them in a baggie, float it for a bit, then grab them out of the baggie with my hand and put them in.

I haven't had any problems...although perhaps I'm just lucky! \o/

At the very least you could bag em and do an acclimation with tank water then pour off the old and pour the fish in the main tank

Hi Chris

basically this accomplishes 2 things, it acclimates the fish to different water and washes off any residual copper, tho I doubt that what remains would be a threat to inverts, well maybe in a nano, but.......................................
