i need to know how to cailibrate my new meter, also how delicate r these things, meaning i read that u can damage the optical senser by cleaning it improperly ? mine is showing 1.030 im not sure if its right or not.

You calibrate the meter using RO water, Place a drop on your glass, wait 30 seconds, then use the adjustment knob to get a level reading of zero-(bottom line.) Then you are all set to test your water. I calibrate my unit once a month to be safe...Anthony

how do u clean yours ? and r they really delicate ?

I just usa a couple drops of RO water and a soft cloth to clean the lens.

I calibrate with RO water but I also have a reference solution that came with mine so that I can check it against a known solution. I clean with a small amount of RO water and a soft towel. I don't use paper towels they can scratch.
