I can say unequivically that this is a very good light, if you're into pendants that is. I had the single 250 over my old 40 and it was a thing of beauty - my fav. LFS runs the dual 400w over all his reef tanks and they are nice.

The price is cheaper (as with most fixtures) because they send a low K bulb, but I ran the stock bulb with a 30w NO actinic and it was fine. A higher K bulb will increase the price a good chunk.
