Reef water into FOLWR water?

I've read that some of the commercial operations reuse their water change water as they go from one system to another. I hate to pour my reef water down the drain if I could use it in a FOWLR tank. Anyone have an opinion on this?

Crappy water leads to phosphates which leads to cyano.

Not sure how big your tank is but for me that would be the wrong place to waste 8 bucks.

Well lets see when using crappy water my tank looked like crap!!

Then i started using better water and my tank started looking better. So the choice is yours.

yes reused water might be ok for one or two water changes but after a while you will have problems.
