Reef to FOWLR Question????

Hi All
After my "1st big tragedy" and a heavy coral loss, I have decided to stay with fish only for a while... ..... My question is, how should I adjust my system? I am going to keep my lighting and skimmer, but I am in the process of building a sump------------should I continue, or stop and build a wet/dry for the system. Always kept a reef, never fish only. Any advice will be appreciated-------Thanks----Tracy

Continue with the sump you dont NEED a wet/dry but some people do use them i use one on my FO BUt i dont have near as much LR as i would need to filter the tank you can have a little higher load with the wet/dry but most people aren't going to recomend it you can run the tank the same way as the reef just no corals and thats a FOWLR so its up to you how you want to do it both ways will work.
