Reef Status?

Hello,

Does anyone have any legit info on the Reefs in Thailand, Maldives etc.?
The articles that I have read all state that Thailands reefs have been destroyed.

Any links or info would be great. I have a Scuba trip planned there late 2005 which I am going to cancel. I may still go and help out with Habatat or Red Cross if they are taking volunteers.

Dunno about the state of the reefs but you are a VERY WORTHY MAN if you volunteer over there. What a tragedy.

I am tenatively planning on working for 4 weeks with a voulnteer construction group. If everything goes as planned I will go in May.

Hopefully the worst is over. The famine and diease is that big worry now and I hope it dosent stop people from helping.
