Reef Nutrition Roti Feast and Arci Pods - Any good? Opinions

Does anyone use the Reef Nutrition Roti Feast and Arcti Pods to feed their corals and fish? What is your opinion? Worth it?

seems like a lot of money to spend to feed something thats not overly nutritious. it would take an awful lot of bottles of it to get the same amount of nutrition from just a single frozen cube .

So does that mean that noone uses this stuff then?

The problem that I have is that if it isn't easy, I'm probably not going to do it. Thawing out frozen mysis and shrimp that is already getting all freezer burned and stuck together is getting to be a PITA and I find myself only feeding flake food now. This other Reef Nutrition stuff is in liquid form and I can simply keep it in the fridge, pop the cap and pour a little in. Simple, no blender, no thawing, no mess. JMO

OK, maybe I am a little wacko here---but I thought these were different types of pod like critters that you added to your tank? I bought some live rotifers and once they were acclimated to the tank---they went straight into my pod motel to give them a chance to breed before being eaten.

Arcti pods are awesome, my fish love them. A bottle is expensive, but lasts for a long time. I haven't tried Tigger Pods, but plan to down the road...you get the live ones and dump the bottle in to stock your pod population. Supposedly they are great for keeping mandarins.

I've never used these products, been using blender mush frozaen into cubes and frozen mysiids pretty much forever, occasional nori for vegans in the tank and Cath whenever she comes by.

The biggest problem with thesee types of concentrated high uality high nutritional value foods is thart many folks overuse them. Just be judicious when using the items and feed smll amounts, as any thawt isn't eaten directly by fishes or other cretures in the tank end up decomposing in the water column to release their costituents.

If I'm not mistaken tho, with tigger pods (the live version) you can just dump the whole bottle in at once to stock your pod population?

That is my understanding as well as the understanding of one of the LFS's I use. Keep in mind that tigger pods are just one type of pod, though.
