Reef Club/Group in the NYC area?

As I said in a previous thread, I'm totally new to reefing and am looking to get more information about the hobby. I live in NYC and thought one good way to learn more would be to see if there was a good club/group that regularly met in the area. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

NY Aquaria in Mamaroneck, NY - Great selection of corals and fish.

Absolutely fish - Another good store

Reef & Fin in Stamford, CT - Good but expensive.

North of the city is a club. Hudson Valley Reef Keepers www.hvreef.org

Reef Encounters has a large selection of fish and some coral, got my clean up crew from them.
New World has lots of both but a small store
Absolute Fish has the largest selection mentioned, a little pricey
I also go to Route 4 Aquarium, Elmwood park NJ. Ask for Lester. He helped me with my rock and some of my plumbing.
There another good store in Ridgefield NJ, but I cant remember the name.
