Redspotted Hawkfish

I love these guys and my LFS has a couple. They tell me that they will eat inverts though. Snails, hermits, and especially shrimp. Do you guys agree??

Liveaquaria says to feed them live feeder shrimp.
The Marine Center says: Carnivorous, feeds on bottom-dwelling invertebrates and zooplankton. Provide a varied diet that includes preparations for carnivors.

they are called hawkfish for a reason, they are predators like hawks. might not happen if you keep them happy enough though. but its your choice if you wanna take the risk.

I guarnatee you they will eat any types of shrimp and also small crabs if they get hungry enough - - I love the fish though, they are cool and have great personalities!
