red star fish id

I posted about this, yesterday, I believe....but the post has vanished..lol.
does anyone know the name of the red sea star on the February page of the calendar?

Just checked it out, that is a beautiful star. If someone else doesn't post I will help you in the search for an id. Or you can PM aussiereefer since it looks like he is the one that submitted that pic. Again, gorgeous star.

very beautiful, in fact....I bought one just like it...and it died. THEN I called the lfs and asked THEM how THEY acclimated stars, they just dump them in the tanks.......no acclimating. No wonder it died. dang. Looking for another from a DIFFERENT store.
