Red Sea Salt Help

I hope this is the right place to post if not sorry. I had bought several buckets of red sea salt for my tanks.I had instant ocean on hand and decided to swicth over my my 180 to red sea salt. I left my other tanks on instant ocean. I notice that I was having a problem with my ph dropping and also my dkh falling as well. My Corals started dieing off as well turning white on the shafts of the sps's. Well when I went tonight to make another batch of water 35 gallons I decided to check the ph and dkh. the dkh is 0 and the ph is 7.8 , I have never seen this in 11 years of saltwater. Has anyone else every had this problem? the dkh is so low that I have use stuff to bring it up but it hasn't shown up as reading anything yet. I heard of some saying that the dkh is lower then normal but this is crazy. Never had a problem with the instant ocean. I switch thinking the added stuff with red sea would be better. As far as some corals that I was able to save they bounced back after being move to my other tank with the instant ocean. I'm thinking this is a bad batch of salt I got.

Did you double check your test kit by also checking the IO tanks?
