There is a red film that is on most of my rocks, it blows right off with a powerhead inches from it....should I be very worried and get it off right away?

Is this a new tank? If so then this is a normal part of the algae cycle.

it looks like cyano and it is easily treated by decreased feeding

I am starting to get red fuzzy on my rock as well , not the skin type you have. I figured it was from the lights being on too long.

when algae is a concern lighting is not the limiting factor. it is the nutrients in the tank. you can have the lights on as long as you want as long as your nutrient levels are low. if your nutrient levels are high than it really does not matter how long the lights are on, you will get algae.
it is important when controlling nutrient to run your skimmer wet. wet means a light tea coloured liquid. on my 150g total system, i empty about 1gallon of skimmate a day.
getting detritus out of the tank as quickly as possible is also important. you should be siphoning out all detritus whenever you do a water change. if detritus is allowed to sit on the substrate it will allow the nutrients to be absorbed by the sandbed. once it is in the substrate it is impossible to remove without removing the the sandbed completely and replacing it with a new one. if left in to long the nutrients can then start wicking their way up into the LR. if this is the case than purging of the LR will need to occur to get the nutrients out.

do you have that draining into a seperate container?
that is a bit darker than i would make it. mine is quite light. it really looks like a light tea. you can see through it quite easily but it is still brown in colour.
with a 100g tank you should be getting about half a gallon a day of skimmate. the more the skimmer removes the less that needs to be removed when siphoning.

I just siphonin the waste into another cup without removing the collection cup to remove it all. Maybe I will crank it up a bit then.

it is better to siphon up the cyano than to blow it around. siphoning it up actually removes the nutrients bound up in the cyano. blowing it around just kills the loose cyano, which then releases its bound nutrients back into the system, where new cyano will be more than happy to uptake it again.

have you tested for phosphates? What type of water do you use?
Cyno feeds on PO4 so you need to see how much you have in the tank, and track down ths source. Cyno is not a algae its a bacteria and there are several factors that help it grow.
How much is in the tank?
Like Geoff says you need to siphon it our not blow it around.
