Red Cobwebs

I have a 33 gallon mini reef. It's 6 months old. I am getting long red cobwebs coming off the rock and the few corals I have. Is this algea or something else? Any ideas? I have attached a picture

Not sure what it is but until you are sure, I would try to get it out of the tank. Better to be safe than sorry.

Probably cyano. Do a search and you'll be sure to find some good threads on it.

Diatom blooms. Use a turkey baster or similar to suck them out. Check your phosphate and nitrate.
