Alright...here we go
I am getting in my skimmer tomorrow. The main body of the skimmer measures 22" high and 7" in diameter. It will be recirculating. My question is which scenario would you use?
1.) (2) Maxi-jet 1200(295~ gph and 20watts each) with a
needle wheel mod and venturi intake
2.) (3)Maxi-jet 900(230~gph and 8.5watts each) with needle wheel mod and venturi intake
3.) (1)Quiet one 3000(780~gph and 40 watts) with a needle wheel mod and a
venturi valve
4.) (1)Ocean Runner 2700(630~gph and 38 watts) with a needle wheel and venturi valve
All pumps have to be external as the skimmer will not be in the sump.
Also which maxi-jet should i use to supple the skimmer? The 900 or the 1200?
