Really stupid question -- Hydor heater

Ok...so I have this Hydor 300W heater and I went to install it today. Has anyone put one of these in? The instructions leave a bit to be desired and I cannot imagine that the way I did it made a seal. I'm getting ready to test it, but I wanted to see if anyone could save me a mess.

All I did was push the tubing on as far as possible and then attempted to screw the end "screws" as tight as possible. Doesn't seem like the "screws" have any hold on the tubing what so ever!?!?!? Ideas? Thanks; the link for the heater is below...

first you turn the screws clockwise until they are snug, then you slide your tubing on, then you unscrew the blue part until it gets snug on th tubing, those things threw me for a loop the first time i saw them.. basically you have to loosen the blue nut to compress against the tubing...i'm make a video of it if you still have issues...

Hmm, I've not seen an in-line heater before. But, maybe you can use some zip ties to clamp the hose on tighter.

If you didn't get a good tight fit, the tubing thickness is too thin. An easy way to fix this is just to run a couple laps of electrical tape over the hose end and then replace the pressure fitting. I have this on my eheims since they run metric tubing and I'm too cheap to buy it
