RE-use mineral mud? OK?
Hi everybody,
Hope you all had a good x.mas! I was wondering about the substrate in my fuge, well no longer actually. I took it all out because it was infested with flatworms and heard it was no good(mineral mud). So I took it all out and put it in a bucket and rinsed with tap water. It's still sittin there, but I was wondering if it is still ok to use if it was sitting in the tap water soaking. Well I don't care about the mineral components of it, but just want a lil substrate in my tank( I am getting some grunge here in a bit). Should I dry it out so none of the tap water gets in my fuge?
