RBTA size question

Well I thought he was gonna die at lunch today because he was TINY. But now the rose bulbs are out and he looks pretty good. Same with this morning.

He keeps moving around the tank.. he seems to like (relatively) good light and very low flow based on where he has moved so far. Is it normal for them to shrivel up and then get big again or should I be concerned!?

My next tank will have 2x175mh but that wont happen for another 2 weeks... hopefully he can stick it though.

He keeps moving around the tank.. not good have not found a good spot he seems to like (relatively) good light and very low flow based on where he has moved so far. Is it normal for them to shrivel up and then get big again or should I be concerned!? all depends, did you feed it the other day? they get small when they are doing a BM - pooping but if not then, stressed. Do a WC - should have very good water quality. PC's are just not enough ligh - sorry to say this but I just wish people would do their homework - reshearch before buying. RC has a nice forum on anoemoe's. Finding nemo has a great site she put together- suggest you read it.

wanareef thanks for the thoughtful answer... the RBTA seems to be fine now, I think he found a spot he likes (finally). His rose bulbs are also extended again which is nice.

Water qualtiy is pretty good. My derasa clam is up near the top and growing rapidly so the tank overall is doing well.
