Rainbow Lifegard Canisters

I bought a 80 gal tank setup second-hand and I am in the process of replumbing it and I am wondering what if any of this I want to keep in the loop. It has a canister for holding chemicals(i.e. carbon, phosban), a mechanical canister with new filters, but the pressure gauge is broken and a canister for holding a heater. I am guessing these cut down of flow rate from my sump. If I do keep any or all of these is there a max gph I should be pushing through them? Which of these should I keep?

that sounds like the 3 stage set up, you can get replacement parts for our sponors look for inline filters and Pentair Aquatics ( they make the rainbow line)
if it is the same one i am thinking about it can handle either a 200 or 300 gallon tank. witha flow rate close to 1000 gph.
one of the things i dont really like about them is everythign is closed off so you have a harder time changing the filters.. but heck of a nice set away

It can be rebuilt.

the chemical cannister can come in handy for carbon and the like, but the mechanical will prolly be more trouble than it is worth for a SW system.
