R.I.P. Ben the Goby

My little goby jumped out of the tank, into the overflow box, got sucked up by the U tube, went down through the drain line, and onto the sorting tray of the wet dry filter while I was away. He did not make it.

Im really upset b/c he was my first fish who made it through all my beginner mistakes.

On the bright side, My toadstool is back to 100% normal color, and Im now just waiting for it to open/ extend, The brwon greeen left and it expanded.

that sucks about the fish, my 6 line did that about a year ago, thought it got eaten by something then when I moved everything to my new tank I found him dried out behind the old one. That sucked!!

i have lost a ton of fish through the overflow. that is why it is better to do a drain sock or no sock at all. bummer man.

I'm sorry for your loss. My yellow watchman did that last night. He went pipe diving through the overflow box and I found him in my sump.
