quick help needed while filling tank
I didn't think any of my RO/DI filters would give out before I finished the water to fill my tank the first time, but the DI just changed color Is it ok to finish filling the tank with RO water? I'm going to try and buy a filter at the LFS today, but is there an additive I should if they don't? Thanks.

what is the water's TDS measure? Even if it is moderate (like 2 or 3 ) it is much better than tap water...
...though if you REALLY want a good start, you could by distilled water to finish it out, the key will be what your TDS measurement is.

TDS Meter is on the purchase list too... Guess I'll leave it making water, then I can always make more if its not good.

yup, anything else at this point will be based on guessing , the color change is not necessarily the abs0lute endpoint of whether or not the cartridge is good or bad, it will still depend on your measurement of water quality.
Good luck on the new setup!

Any recommendations on a TDS meter that I might be able to buy locally?

And I just realized, I don't know what TDS stands for, or what it measures?
