Question. Purple tang.

I bought a purple tang yesterday. Looks healthy ate at the pet store and is eating now. But the fin above his body, is kind of torn, will that eventually grow back or no? &&his coloring around his face has some white on it? Can that be fixed or will he stay like that? I can put up pictures if I need to.

Probably ripped by the yellow tang you've got with it. I've seen that before.

It was ripped at the pet store. But I think it might have been from the scuffle with the guy trying to catch him.

white color around the face might be HLLE. A long as he well fed with lots of greens it should go away. Hard to tell in the pic though
