Question On Ranco Dual Stage Temp Controller

I just got a ranco dual stage temp controller and was looking for some advise on where to eep the settings for it. Right now I have the cool side set at 1dif 79 degrees and the heat side set at 1dif 77 degrees.

I was wondering if I could set it at cool 1dif 79 and heat 1dif 78 and have it work properly?

I have mine set at 79 for heat and 81 for cool.

Maybe I will set mine at 78-80.
